It is a critical function for our services to stay current, relevant and robust. Our model is one built on members coming in receiving services, and then having the opportunity to be empowered to volunteer and lead our members by giving back to the community. This model of service is one of the exciting functions of a recovery community. It allows us as individuals to give back to the community while simultaneously finding that it enriches our own recovery immeasurably by being able to give back and help others. Our volunteers provide service as well as the hope to others that recovery is indeed thriving in our community.
