Josh Colwell (He,Him), CRSW, Criminal Justice Recovery Supervisor

Josh is a person in long term recovery. He came to find recovery by walking through the doors of the Rochester SOS after struggling with Substance Use Disorder for a long period of time which led him to have first hand experience with the criminal justice system. Josh is a proud AmeriCorps Alum where he served along side other members throughout the state in different Recovery Community Organizations for the Recovery Corps program. He facilitates digital All Recover Meetings daily during the week. He also facilitates an All Recovery Meeting and a recovery capital workgroup inside the Rockingham County Jail with individuals who are incarcerated involved with STARR program. Josh attends Strafford County Drug Court sessions as a support for participants. You can also find him in the basement at The Strafford County Superior Court House working with people engaged with Strafford County Community Corrections, Probation/Parole and Drug Court. Josh also is one of the trainers for the Peer Assisted Recovery Bootcamp. When he is not at work he loves spending time with his family, working on his own personal recovery and riding his motorcycle.
