Tami is from Southern California, and has lived in New Hampshire since 2017. She has been in long term recovery since 2016. She found herself coping with substances after life changes and challenges with mental health. One day, Tami realized she had lost all the things in life that she thought made life worth living, so she reached out for help to get those back and accidentally began her recovery journey. After finding solid footing in her recovery, Tami started helping others. She found SOS while attending mutual aid meetings and eventually began volunteering at SOS in 2020. She’s currently working toward her CRSW and hopes to go back to school some day.
